Earth dance?

Has earth dance happened yet this year? If no, is Portland doing an event for this? I've heard nothing.

If it hasn't happened, and no one has an event planned I'd like to pick up the ball on it.

the date for EarthDance was last weekend, the 18th. Some friends and I did a mock EarthDance up here (earthprance!), because our group has always done it in the past, but didn't have the resources to do it fully this year... (and yes, all 12 of us considered it a great success!).

You may want to check with Chris West / Fussik, as last I knew he was the registered Portland promoter for EarthDance (you'll remember Skamania County Fairgrounds last year, and The Mansion the year before that).

So, in closing... it's too late to do it this year (but you should still feel free to throw a benefit for a cause you believe in;) ). If you want to do it next year in PDX, see if Chris is doing it, and if he's not, register yourself with EarthDance Int'l. Or come up and help out with EarthDance Seattle next year =)
