a person that is always there for you, through thick and thin. a person you can feel comfortable around, and share your feelings with...and not worry about gettin made fun of. a person that can make you laugh, or smile when you dont want to. a good, friend is someone that is good to you.

Heres my deffinition of a friend.

Someone who is there for you thru it all, but YET not thru ALL of it. When you are fucking up they let you know and sometimes you might lose a true friend because you fuck up to much. I mean what im saying is a true friend will be there for you but not someone who will help you fuck up your life. They are honest, sincere, understanding, good listeners, advice givers, and fun to be w/. thats what a true friend is to me.

Each person has their own interpretation of the word friend, and for the most part the word is used very loosely. As a matter of fact i use it quite loosely myself. However when it comes right down to it there are two kinds of friends. the first "friend" is a person that you hang out with maybe not all the time but you get along and you love to spend time together when the time fits. As far as this goes i meet new friends every weekend, and i love you all.
The other kind of friend is a person that can be trusted with all of your deep and dark secrets. the person that tells you when you are fuckin up and even when you ignore their advise they are there to pull you back onto the right track. no matter what it is that you do a true friend will always be just that a friend. so here is my suggestion for the week every friend you see hug them and let them know that they matter and that you love them it will make life that much better well mass hugz to all. and to all you that know me i have all kinds of love for you.

A friend, in my opinion, is (like most people have said) is someone who will be there through the thick and thin. Some one who wont ditch or diss you if u fuck up, if you do sumpin stupid. They will tell you, but they will be there. some one who can help you throught things, someone who you can tell anything to, and they will listen. Not always understand, mind you, but they will hear what you say.
Unfortunately I just lost someone whom i thought, was my best friend. Practically my other. (know what i mean?) But he thought i did something totally fucked up, said some very nasty things to me (at school) and we havent spoken since. grrrrr. I miss him greatly, but i have relized that he obviously wasnt a true friend.
True friends stick with you, even if they dont like the things you do. At least thats what i think. images/smilies/smile.gif

hmmm, a true friend is someone who always has a shoulder ready, and comforting words. A true friend is someone who will talk you down, or talk you out of doing something extremely stupid(thanks, Adrienne, best friend back in brooklyn).

A true friend is someone who basically loves you for who you are, and isn't condenscending, patronizing, or any of that other negative crap.

grrr, a true friend is just...someone who is there for you, regardless of what you have done.

i'm not sure if you peeps will understand what i mean...
a good friend is real.
because they're not afraid of you or you're judgement. it's mutual unconditional acceptance. they're free in being themselves... because they know that you'll always be there for them, and they'll always be there for you. no matter what they do.

anyway... that's sorta sums up what i think.

Hmm, I think that the best is having a girlfriend(say Kate fer instance) who is also yer best and most trusted friend in tha whole wide world. And then more good mutual friends like Tamme & Aaron cause they're fresh like that. Heh, and all my other buds too.
Here's the thing about all of the people I previously mentioned, you know that someone is a *good* friend when you can kick it w/ them non-stop outside of partE's. They will always remain faithful to you, never backstab you and have an equal give and take friendship. It's g-g-g-r-r-r-r-r-e-e-e-e-a-a-t-t-t
