Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How dissapointing, seriously Vancover I make the trek up from the States to see Lee Coombs, and you turn out like that!!! ............What the fuck, there was nobody at the Drink tonight, Luckily Lee was a good sport and still spun but seriously during the middle of his set there were no more than 15 people on the dancefloor! Very dissapointing, but for me it still didn't matter Lee was off the hook, and I think breaks wise, this was one of the better sets I've ever seen! Flat out Lee just gets it..........I don't know what else to say but his combination of breaks and progressive was astounding. Next time I just hope I won't be the only one there to enjoy it! Soma was a very good opener..........thanx for the tix brett!

van city loves them some trance, so to hear they didn't come out to see lee coombs comes as no surprise.
i figured if i went that this would be my fav set of the year. sounds like you are feeling about the same.

i would have expected him to play a lot of stuff from the new album, the plumps remix of shiver, and purple funky monkey late in the night to push the place over.

holy fuckin mad cow! lee coombs was in the northwest, and I missed it?! for anybody who doesn't already know, lee coombs is the fucking man. if i would have been aware of this event, i'd have been there cumming my pants... along w/ 15 or so other friends that i would have dragged there.. damn damn damn damn damn

somebody please bring this guy back.. and props to whomever the promoter was.. sorry it didn't get much of a turnout..

Dissapointing to hear about the turnout. I don't thinkk people may have realised how wicked Lee's tracks are. Vancouver has such a vibrant progressive scene also, weird. :confused:
