i wanna say thanks to rod for havin me and dave out, we had a fun time playing !
this was a cool party, i spent maybe 2 hours there due to my ride having to work early in the morning, thus leaving a lil bit into rod's set. what i did catch from soulkid and undecided was really good, you guys seem to feed off eachother well.
i really wish i could have hung out a lil longer to check out mike and jerick....
inside was packed, and there were a ton of people outside too. seemed like the people over by the kandi kid castle were having a good ol time if ya know what i mean ;)
glad to see all the buddies and everybody else i met and talked to.
see you in a couple weeks for the gb 2 year !!

Alright, I just gotta show the love for ALL THE DJ'S IN THE TENT!!!!
I didn't spend any time inside because there were way too many raver kids and too much white for my eyes ;) So I spent the night outside chillin' while my friends spun.
SOULKID and UNDECIDED.........;) You guys rock. When ya need the breaks fix...you two always know how to supply for sure.
BISCUIT and JERICK........Also much enjoyable. Droppin' a few hot tracks and Jerick scratchin' over it...I was feelin' it.
KOHEI.....Good to see you again man! You were tossin' some dark shit! Sick set for sure...glad to see the crowd movin'. I'll see you the 3rd ;)
MODE 4....The Last DJ of the night under the tent. You tore that shit up!! I haven't seen the dark side of you in a while. Had everyone groovin'. You made my night...wouldn't be complete without the heavy bass. Thanx for my weekly fix. *Hey you have any Nine Inch Nails?* :D JK
Was awesome to see Rod, Millard, Jen, Mike, Annie, Chad, Pedro, Derek, Tammi, Zach, Chris, Bridget, Tito and anyone else i missed...Much love.
Werd to Rod and the entire BazSic Elementz crew for holdin' down the tent outside...such a fuckin' awesome night and a badass line-up. Can't wait to see more from you guys!!!

All of this is well and good, but I would like to make a constructive criticism. If people are paying $15 a head to get in, there NEEDS to be water made available for free. Two weeks ago at fluffy bunny, a free event at the same location, cold water and cups were both supplied, so I know it's doable.
Also, why is it that I wasn't allowed to bring in my water bottle, but my friend got to bring in his six pack of pale ale?
Sweet party. Scorching hot. Talented dancing. ROCKING set from dj monkey.

Didn't pay too much attention to downstairs. All the acts I came to see were all upstairs anyway. I came in jus before Monkey's set, though I heard Beefer's set from outside. AWESOME debut! good shit dude! Monkey tore shit up with several of my favorite F-8 trax that I WISH I could still find from their site. Then Samurai hit up the decks. WOW! Incredible! Got me going. Then when Check6 hit up the tables, he kept the crowd rockin HARDCORE! Then as Stunt Cock kept the crowds going until Wheelz hit up. Droppin' some of the dopest tracks of the night, showing of his veteren-like prowess for the wheels of steel.
Now for the SMALL bad stuff. I think there's a couple people I know who shall remain nameless who need a little work on manners and handling themselves in public. One person in particular shouldn't take this as an insult, more or less a 'guiding slap of light' in the right direction. You're young enough to chalk this up as a lesson in life, and you CAN change fer the better.
Also, I am putting out an APB on a hat. Beefer's hat, which he left behind the DJ area upstairs. He bought it from Universal Studios and it was 'ad-wear' for the movie Twister. If ANYONE see's an 'upside-down cow' hat on ANYONE'S head, SNATCH IT AND SEE IF IT'S THE ONE THAT BELONGED TO THIS GUY! He wanted to wear it for EVRY set he plays, and there's not another one like it in the WORLD anymore. HELP US TRACK IT DOWN KIDZ!! Latez!

Wow this was a party, despite how the owners tried to kill all of us by not providing water. DJ Monkey among others layed down some heavy bass that got me moving. Props to the kid with the spray water bottle, how come ravers don't have that idea more often? A spray of water in the face is like being touched by Jesus. I loved the varieties of trance played in the main room, varying from some awesome hardcore beats to some slight breaks. Vocals in trance suck, whoever spun the happy trance with the chick singing or whatever needed to be at Fluffy Bunny, where there really was not that much happy trance. Just give me the beats, don't ruin it with words. Other than that, the only complaint I have is the water. What the heck are these people thinking? Fluffy Bunny provided free water, free cups, at a FREE RAVE. If I have to pay 10 dollars to get in, it is an absolute requirement to have water, especially when its approaching 90 degrees inside. I believe that I just contracted bronchitis by sharing water bottles in fact. Take this into consideration Osaeo. PLUR.

i had an amazing time... that was my second party (this and freak night are my only ones) and i had a helluva time! i brought 2 guys with me that had never raved before and they had a blast as well.
i liked that there was a spinner outside too so when you got too hot inside you could chill in the cuddle huddle and still be listenin to beats.
i DIDNT like (everyone knows what im gonna say) lol... the water situation... with as hot as the OSAEU got with all those bodies and dancing, there should have been at least drinking fountains... thats how people die. but hey -- theres always next year.

All the people who are complaining that Oseao should take care of the water situation need to talk w/ monkey. Oseao is an art gallery that rents its floor out for after business hour events. The water situation is totally up to the promoter to handle. And yeah, there should have been water. Free water on the other hand is hard to do. Especially when there has been a drop in parties, you don't know if you will make your money back on a show.
As for the party, I had a great time playing w/ Jerick, and getting to follow up the great duo of Soulkid and Undecided!
I wish there wasn't a big power problem, it would have made it easier to go with the flow, but those kinds of things happen.
I was glad to see so many people out, it seems that the scene may be coming back around. I wish there wasn't so many high kids, but I guess thats what you get w/ this kind of show....
I had a great time! Thanks for having me!
Till next time.....

I think you may be right about the electronica scene coming back, I know that I have been doing my own personal damndest to bring back the "rave" culture.
Big ups to water bottle spray guy. He rocked.

Just a quick interjection, but I have to wonder this.
In my six years of partying, I've only ONCE found free water at a rave. And that was actually a USC event, hidden in the "medical tent" was a free water cooler.
I've always purchased water at an event, and filled it in the tap if I wanted more. Honestly, I don't find that too big of an inconvience.
Am I wrong here? Or just completly missing the point of what people are complaining about.

Like, thats what I do too, but the problem with the OseaO is there is no tap water to refi;l with, like, I said earlier, I waited in line for the toilet room for an hour and a half.... like, when you want to get water you have to give your waterbottle to someone you don't know at the front of the line and be like, "duude, fiill my water up when you go in?" for a girl that's kinda dangerous, IMHO........

I'm not sure if I ever had to wait in line for an hour and a half, but I know I spent at least 45 minutes just waiting once...

The outside tent was where is was AT!
(though the way the area was layed out prevented me from getting to dance for more than 30 seconds at a time without being run over..heh.)
I had fun! Undecided & SoulKid played a fantastic set, as did Biscuit and Jerick. Missed most of Influentz & Owtbrake :(.. but what I heard was great. Kohei brought the Ruckus! I was getting stomped on all over the place. Sad I missed Mode4 :( .. but I KNOW he always plays very solid sets so I'm sure this one was no different. Since I was outside the whole time, I missed Randall Glenn and Check6 unfortunately :(.
The girl with the mouse scared me.

I really hate the way people *EXPECT* things from raves. Dont expect to get in free or get free water or drugs or expect the party to make you have a good time! You make the party! You get what you put in.
I dont really have much more to say except that was an awesome party. Thanks to everyone who helped make this party what it was. Especially thanks to all the djs! Monkey you know i love your music! I missed half your set though!! agghhh!
I cant wait to see the pics on trancewhorez!

Glad to hear this went off, a few people asked how come I wasn't there & didn't play.... I was booked in Florida last weekend, so as much as I wanted to be a part of white out 2, a free trip to Florida was far too good to pass up!!!!! congrats to Beffer on his first set!!! I hear you did a good job.
Hopefully I will see you all this saturday at Thankgroovin, for the long awaited return of the Corruptor, as I take it to Seattles hard dance master dj wheelz in a 2x4. You can expect to hear all the new cuts Wheelz & I have been working on!!!

The venue was very small, and indoor/outdoor so of course it was way to cold outside and way way to hot inside. And overpacked so if you wanted to goto the bathroom you ended up waiting in line for 30 to 45 min. and then when the music outside stopped everyone piled into the one room upstair. I think that the party would have been better if it was in a bigger venue.

Yeah, DJ Samurai definitely made my night! It totally made up for the limitation of the venue. I picked up one of his CDs (which he graciously signed for me) and it was totally worth the $10.
