I had a blast. Thanks to Goodbeat and Revival for providing an all breaks room - <3!!!
Everyone I heard was great; there were some minor technical difficulties with the freshly built plywood stage, but other than that, the music was excellent. Props to Nyx and Kreeper for closing the side room properly - that last track is perfect, every time.

Seattle needed a party with this kinda vibe. The people were awesome, the sound was good, it wasn't oppressively hot, no drama, and the breaks stage was going OFF all night.
Caught the ass end of Airborne's set, good to see you playing out somewhere besides Analog! It was rad to see you up there.
Miss Jevious played one of the best sets I've heard from her; very impressed. "Motormouth", "Dominatrix", and that rad Busta Rhymes "got you all in check" song were my favorites. It was great to see you again. Way to go Melis!!
Ran over to listen to Martin for a few, and he was rockin like always, but the breaks were calling me back to the second stage. Grooved out to Palmer and Pooka for an hour, then headed back to the main stage to listen to Beeks....to hear some more breaks!! My mouth dropped when i heard "swing punk" play. Great set; the only problem with Beeker is that he's a talented turntablist, and not too many dj's can scratch, juggle, or do tricks like he can. Because of that, some people forget to dance and just stand and stare. Rad set though, it was good to hear you play.
Then it was back to the breaks stage to hear the Troll play. It was awesome to hear the "You used to hold me" Sharaz track, then the Aqua/Masterblaster sample track back to back. You had the crowd singing hun! It was constant dirty breaks for the hour and a half and there seemed to be more people in the side room dancing than in the main room. I think nu skool is beginning to find a bigger audience :D I still can't believe the ending track to the set was "Smack my bitch up". That's old school circa '99!! I had loads of people come up and ask who this DJ was and if he had a demo. One is in the works y'all.
Stayed to listen to Joe and Jess, which of course played bangin tracks, but unfortunately the damn needle was skipping over the record. "Outerspace" was still loved though!!
It was great to see Mahoney, Cethe, Erik, Jimmay, Geno, Tim, white James, Shaun and Jen, Beeks and MJ, Joe and Jess, Eli and Riss, Courtney and Ben and friends:D, Lance, Karissa, Scott, Seth, Joel and of course JohnM. Last night was RAVEtastic!!!
Hope everyone else had as much fun as I did.

Had a geat time last night.
Good to see all the friendly faces again.
Real good vibe all night long.
I like that fact that there is a 21 and over area, thats real cool.
That venue kicksass, keep an eye out for a future klubstompers event there.
All the djs i heard were excellent, but thats a givin, they were all N.W. dj's :D.
Was realy cool to see everyone dancing hard!!!
Sarah and I had a real fun time up there throwing down the HardTechno for ya.
Thanks for all the support and a big props to all th people out on the dance floor keepin the scene groovin. :D
Great show Eric!!!
Hail GOODBEAT!!! :D

I had a blast! I hadn't done the whole party thing in ages so it was good to get back out and rendezvous with some old friends. Josh and I only stayed till around midnight (I know, I know..I'm lame) but we had a blast meeting up with people I hadn't seen since Erik's 420 party. ;)
Lots of love to Erik, Cethe, Billy O, Karissa, Jen, Jeff, Ricecube, Martin, Geno, Dot, Mike and his girl, Beeker and Jevious,Galen, Marq, Travis, and many others :D I can't believe I didn't see Sarah, Nate, Elyce, or Damien! Arg!
Anyhows, good times. I loved the vibe and it was great to see so many old friends again. All I have to say is that the long islands rock there. I had one of thos and a red bull & vodka and I was feeling good ;) Josh and then proceeded to laugh at the kids who danced around in a jumping circle (what's up with that?) and then later how they literally tore the back couch apart (probably looking for a dropped bomb) and not giving a care that Josh and I were ON the couch as they tried to move it around and rip it apart. Obnoxious..
Thank you Goodbeat for this party! I needed it! I just wish I could have stayed up later. I spent the whole day prior cleaning my house from top to bottom - but now it's clean and I got my groove on. It was a wonderful way to end the weekend. :D
Much love <33

WOW!! That was the most fun Ive had at the catwalk ever, and i had been there since 4 setting up.... so thats saying alot! Had a good time running stuff around and watching the magic fall into place, and damn that back stage idea was a good one.
Either way that was a great party, great vibe, awesome sets from everyone i saw, good decorations for that place too, and it wasnt half as sweaty and hot as it normally gets in there. Shit even the back room was popping most the night. Minimal retarded partiers or issues to be seen (i apparently missed the couch episode).
My favorite moments were hanging with zip and pestering tim at the door, the "surprise visitors" later on, watching dave's opening set, martin's set, palmer and pookas set, missjevioius' and beekers set... the rest of the sets I heard but didnt get to "see" them much... but damn good times all in all, good seeing all the croud and hanging til the sun came up at the afterhours... thanks to all of the crew that helped out and made it possible, glad you had a fun party edot, you deserve to party too bro!! :)
cheers to all my old friends and to some of my new ones, wooohooo!!
put a fork in me, im done

In the two years i've been doing these parties, i can't recall many times where i was able to have fun and party at my own show. All the other times it's run around and do this, go get water, take care of the disaster in that room, we need change, amps are blowing up, and a whole mess of other craziness that goes into running the event. I was able to enjoy my party for once. I was able to party my ass off all night with my friends and family and fellow groovers. I was able to run around and be silly and it was fantastic! Our friends went above and beyond to try a new thing and work the day of the show for jimmy and i so we could party and relax. A friend offered to be the stage manager and when it came time for shit to be done, it was done. our stage manager ordered Jimmy and I to "have fun and get trashed" :p.
My thanks go out to JohnM first and foremost, i owe you a lot man. You made the impossible possible. I'll not forget this. Many thanks to Agent PLUR aka Jimmy from Revival... It was awesome to do this show with you. Biggie ups to the cream cheese dog massif! Many thanks to Mahoney, Mahoney, and Cethe. Zodiac rocks. I honestly don't know what i'd do without you guys. You're awesome friends. Major thanks to the ANGUS! for workin the door like a pro! The set up crew kicked so much ass, things were done early. Great work guys.
The djs. WOW. When i set out to program this show, i had no idea it would turn out so well. I think the best compliments i heard all night were "man, this sucks, the music is too good everywhere, i have to keep going back and forth between rooms" and "why haven't i heard so many of these djs before, the music here is off the hook!". I don't even know where to begin... favorite sets... jeez... it's so hard to say. I was very stoked that Dave Airborne did a fantastic job for his first rave gig. Goodbeaters... Beeker, P&P, Sonny.. You guys astonish me. Every single time. Speaking of Goodbeaters... I'm happy to announce that The Corruptor is now part of the goodbeat posse. I can't stand that fluffy MarQ stuff, bro, but im more than happy to have you aboard. ;) heheh. The FUTURE is HARD! but yeah, corruptor and wheelz kicked lots of ass. Anyways, back on track here... The breaks room. breaks breaks and more breaks! MJ rocked it, TONY killed it, then Kreeper and Nyx... god damn. resurrected it and killed it all over again! you better watch out joe, i think your lady is gonna start takin your gigs! Dave armstrong played really well out in the main room. Im glad i was able to move ya out there since jo jo couldn't make it. And last but not least... nate and sarah. the more and more i hear you guys play, the better and better you two get. always awesome music, always well mixed. I <3 Techno!
mad love to all the people i got to meet and party with. i could write on and on about all of you, but then we'd run out of bandwidth and kim would smack me with her plur stick and i'd be sad. but let's just say im going to have even more of those "what's your name again" moments here in the future. :) thank you guys so much for coming and partying with us and allowing these djs to rock your bodies all night long. you guys make this community what it is and you came out in full force last night. i met pdx kids, vancouver kids, canadian kids, and i think even some idaho kids. you seriously suprised me last night people. smiles and dancin everywhere. the best part was when everyone went "awwwwwwww" when they turned the music off. that meant a lot to the djs. hehehe. thank you guys for groovin for cancer research! now when we send the donation to Fred H, we can sign it "Ravers of the Northwest!"
shout out to the PULSE 1330 crew, the northwest's real underground electronica station! great to meet you cats!
I hope to see you all out at Oseao in 2 weeks for the Goodbeat 2 Year!
Peace & Goodbeats!

I had such a blast - it was good to get out and see everybody after 'hiding out' for the past couple of months. The vibe at this party was awesome. I met so many nice people.....it seemed like everyone was having a good time. The main room's sound was seriously bumpin'. I was pleased to see a good amount of people in the side room as well....yaaaay for the all breaks line-up in there - dope. The DJs in there did a really good job of mixing it up so there weren't a bunch of the same tracks being played over and over again.
All the sets I heard were really good: Palmer & Pooka, Sonny Chiba, Tony the Troll, and of course Kyd Beeker.
Thanks to those of you who danced right along with me while I was up there spinnin' my little heart out. Also thanks to those who complimented me afterward.....that really means a lot :)
Thanks to the Goodbeat crew for throwing one of the best parties I've attended in a long time......

okay, first things first... LOVED the venue. it had this great underground goodness to it. i walked in and could feel the plurrific goodbeat vibes. it was rad... :)
i almost didn't come out... mainly because lately i've become this strange creature that doesn't go out and have fun. lol. but with the stress of cassie and i moving into our new place and starting new jobs and saying goodbye to old friends and what not, i decided i had to go out and find a good time. the goodbeaters were just what i needed.
i saw soooo many old friends! it was awesome! i hadn't seen some of those peeps since february!!! i can remember hanging out with goodbeat crew every weekend. are we getting old or what the hell is the deal here???? ;)
i walked into the main room where the chibanator was throwin' down some tasty tracks. he got my night off on the right foot, like only marini can...
palmer and pooka were rockin' in in the side room, which seemed like the place to be all night. nothing but awesome local talent going off in there all night long...
beeker out in the main room was impressive as usual. pulled out a lot of craziness and some new stuff too that was nice to hear. if there was any ounce of thanksgiving left in my body. it was gone after that set. my legs were tired and i needed a shot of bacardi. good work. lol.
i caught the troll's set, which by my surprise, was the first time i'd ever seen him spin. like whoa... gooooood shit! dirty, delicious breakage. mmmmhmmmm. i loved the "you used to love me" sharaz track. it's one of my faves. i was singing like a drunken idiot... really loud. it was dopetastic! and "smack my bitch up" was a great ending to a super fab set.
joe and jessica closed out the side room proper! and for the record jess, no matter what others may say... i think it's awesome that you're up there playing what you love, and lookin' might hot doing it too! you guys totally rocked my socks! i loved the sarah mclaughlin "stupid" track. it's so my song. *sings* how stupid could i be, a simpleton could see, that you're no good for me, but you're the only ooooone i seeee. /awful singing. lol. i was singing all night in the side room... i apologize to anyone who was within ear shot! *giggles*
it was soooo good to see everyone last night! shoutouts to martini and ashes, phe and josh, mike and annie... good luck with the new home! and letting your cousin in on the news! poor guy... hehe., joe and jessica... i had so much fun! i hope you guys got some good pictures. my drunk ass was being all professional miss photographer lady. lol. geno... i always enjoy your company! elyce... yay for getting the hug! you'll have to come to the c and k housewarming party. we can get tipsy and have tekno_kid moments. mahoney, cethe, johnm, joel, kori and tory... yay! i missed you guys! lancey... i hadn't hung out with you in sooooo long. it was great reminiscing with you. lol... it's nice to know that c and i aren't the only ones that look back on that weekend last october and say... "whaaaat dude!" lol. erik, you never disappoint. i had soooo much fun hanging out with you again! :D
i STILL love goodbeaters. i can't wait until december! :D

all the set up whoot!!!
& the catwalk is my new fav venue!!
No fluffness last saturday, just HARD & BANGIN.....
I had a great time playing my 1st 2x with Wheelz. We got to play 3 of our new original tracks & it was great to see the positive reactions they got. Bill & I have many more in the works, so you can expect more of the same next time. Everyone I caught was tearin it up, Martin was killin it, playing Mojado - El Toro, that is one of my fav's!!!! Beeker had a great range in his set, from breaks to hip hop to hard dance. Detonate & Sara closed out super solid great times 4 sure!!!!!
Great to see everyone out again, & even better to see Eric & Jimmay teaming up to bring this awsome event to us. Catwalk is a good venue, I like the booze area for us old foke, both rooms are a good size & had good sound. Keep them coming!!!!
Thanks agian for having us out, I look forward to playing many more good beat events.

HAHA, anytime bro, anytime. You and Erik both have always been pretty good to me, so naturally the Rican in me returns the favor. Anytime you need anything hit me up :D
As for my review of this event: Wow. Goodbeat events neer cease to impress me. The vibes are just the same as when we used to kick it on the eastside together, a couple years back already. Now Goodbeat is a huge family, and even bigger community. I've never been more proud to be a part of something that makes alot of us feel so damn good. From DJ's to extended goodbeaters like C & K, it never gets old and it always stays tight-knit down to the wire, through thick and thin.
Nyx & Kreeps rocked that bitch out even with the faulty plywood floor and showed 'em how they do some breaks. Palmer and Pooka are still (in my eyes) the not-so-best-kept seattle secrets, MarQ & Wheelz tore it up, funny how i never in 10 years have I ever liked trance yet whenever I hear these two i always get down and rock out anyway. Nate and Sarah? What can I say? How many times have I had the luxury of kickin it with you guys and hearing you two wreck techno balls? It never gets old ;) The opening guy (I failed to catch his name, my apologies) warmed shit up nicely with his deeper selection of house, something i havent heard anybody play in awhile. MJ rocked (the little bit I was able to sneak in from her), Jeff, or course pwned, which as long as I've known him, is nothing new, though his record selection is a lil new haha. Sony Chiba remains one of the more versatile DJ's out here, seems he can pull any style with grace. Those were the sets I caught. And *gasp* they're all goodbeat family, leaving a testament that we have some of the best local talent around, yo.
I had much much fun, save for the moment I was jacked of my water bottle (which was no big deal, had I not been accused of importing foreign drinks. See, the secuirity guy (not the one that was there all night, the other big guy), thought I went outside and came back in, when I had in fact gone to the stairs to ask Tim some retarded question and was then stripped of the water out of my hand from behind. The guy made a stink about it too, sayi i was gonna get his club shut down. All that and I hadn't even gone outside with the damn water bottle!!!
Anywas, lemme wrap this up by Saying hey to all the close friends that I got to see: Phedre (my face is still red), Shoshanna, Kitty, Ratboy (can't believe we were at that venue that long!!!! The pizza was worth it though haha), John M, Tim (angus aka the door nazi), Texas (for making the night a lil brighter), Kori, Tori, Tori's lil sister, JJ & Sarah, JIMMY, Erik, Melissa, Jeff, Mike, Annie, & last but defenitely not least, Miss Karissa. What would a Rican do without yall?

this was an awesome party! i had a great time listening to the all of the dj's, hanging with friends, and spinning! i really didnt want the night to end. huge props to erik and jimmy for putting this show together and being able to enjoy it themselves. big thanks for giving me a great timeslot in the 2nd room too. the kids in there really seemed to be having a great time all night... it gave me a sense that nu skool breaks are respected in this scene afterall!!!! i really appreciated the few people who approached me and said they dug my set or came to see me play (sorry i dont recall all your names), and all of you who were rockin out to my set and even singin along to some of it, hehe. those things mean a lot to me as a dj, and are representative of the vibe that was at this party. i am sorry i didnt have any demos to hand out! there is a new one in the works... send me a pm and i would be happy to send you dialectical beats and the new one when its finished. in sum, this was a great show as we have come to expect from goodbeat and revival. i am sure more good things await.

GoodBeat=Goodvibe~ I had a great time at the catwalk. It was awesome seeing people who've been in hiding like myself recently. The place was great, the vibe was rockin. All the dj's threw down killer sets. I loved the Nu Skool Breaks room. It was a blast playing and rockin out all crazy like. Like Tony said. Thanks to everyone who danced, sung along, and who were all just having a good time, and the compliments too! Thank you to my personal photographer *Miss K* You got some killer shots of Joe and I! YOU RULE! Erik, thanks so much I had a blast, you and K were awesome bar companions too! Martin, wicked set! I havent heard some of those tracks in a grip! And of course my boyfriend Joe, I had so much fun up there with you. Thank you baby. You are the most amazing person.
Id rattle off a list of everyone who i saw but there were too many of you.
