I have two Tech M3D's, nice needles... I have a Gemini 626 which is in perfect condition and therefore the perfect mixer, BUT, I can get a Rane if you really want =P

Eww! What do you mean? Isn't it somewhat common knowledge that DJM-500s kick ass, and should be used at every oppertunity? Does he understand what one can DO with one of these things? I am not trying to disrespect anybody's knowledge in the least, it just seems as though it would be for the greater good of the room, to be able to rip it up with the effects.

i would like to have a really good mixer in the house room if at all possible. it doesn't have to have effects. but here are some must haves:

solid three-band EQ per channel
solid faders and knobs
monitor volume control
headphone volume control
hamster switches or something similar

a djm-500 would work well enough, altho i don't use the effects. also, some MK3 1200's would be awesome. i like the smoother pitch slider without the notch at 0.

Last time I check OTR was a benifit thing. Of course we would all want the best gear to spin on at any party...but come on. I don't know if the DJ's are geting paid or what not, but I have noticed that Brenna is doing her best to put together the best party possible.

Have some class and thank her instead of demanding things from her. Would not having a hamster switch really kill your set?

are the least you should expect. If not, mixing will be a lot more difficult
