Sampler is kosher. It's pretty freeform. Just so long as it's electronic music. Last night rocked. Great turnout and rad music. Whodathunk a Tuesday could kick so much ass.

Wow, what a terrific audience there for a Tuesday!

Nice beats & lots of downtempo filling the room well...good sound, even with that talkative audience.

Glad to hear some local producers....good to see Eli again and meet mr demogorgon!

hopefully I'll make it there again! I'll keep checking the lineups here.

Thanks for coming out!

It's almost a week later, but I've just now settled down enough to post. It took an ice storm to keep from going out this last week. Even then, I got home right when it started and left right when it ended.

Yeah, Tuesday kicked ass. I had a lot of fun. It's still officially "9pm - 12am", but the last track ended at 2:30am last week. This thing has only been getting better and better. I'm glad the NLL expanded (that back room is pretty new), or it would have been standing room only all night! The crowd is always cool and just gets bigger each week. The music has been freaking excellent, consistently, every week since I started going in November.

The ambient noise that comes with the bigger crowd can bit a much, though, I agree. Whenever we turn it up, the people just get louder, so we have a pretty set level. If you really want to hear the music clearly, the room in the back is the best place to hang out. Less people and louder speakers.

I look forward to Tuesdays more than any other night of the week at this point. It's like my new Friday. There's no "official" site for this event, but most info and discussion happens over at http://www.em411.com/forum/18799/5//laptop_lounge_tuesdays_pdx.html.
