Holy jumpsuits and spiked hair Batman...Venus and Beej ripped the head off Medusa!!
What a long drive it is from PDX to SEA and back within 12 hours, but concidering I hadn't seen my boy Beej in over a year...there was no question about what I was going to do.
After working a full day Saturday...getting home for a one hour nap...I was on the road by about 7:30-ish...
Got into SEA around 10:45...parked the rig and worked my way to the club. I had heard that the venue was one of the "dress code enforced" kind so I didn't arrive in my typical attire of huge baggies, tennis, fun hat, etc. Instead I jumped into my slacks/sweater/leather jacket combo (Not really my style for clubbing, but sometimes sacrifices have to be made...a small price to pay)
Got in to see Venus rockin' the house the way she's done everytime I've seen her down here...always a blast....great energy and smokin' hot!
Beautiful people were plentiful...great fun being had...new friends were made.
Then the moment I'd been waiting over a month for...
Now I know it must sound odd for a grown man of 32 to be a self-proclaimed "groupie" of a deep-funky-house DJ...but the fact of the matter is that Beej puts on one hell of a show...eveytime I've seen him I've had a blast...
Last night was no exception...
He and I had been chatting back and forth online and he was telling me that his sets were getting even more funky and sexy than the stuff I'd heard him do before...
What a fuckin understatement...the shit was insane!!
The place was rocking!!!
I stuck around until the lights started to come on...bailed to an afterhours and then made the long journey home, but not before pulling off to the side of the road to take a quick nap
All in all, it was a great night...I look forward to more Beej sightings in the PacNW in the future
