Well first off, I'd like to give a BIG thanks to the kandi kid who went and snagged us some T.P.! Without him, some who came out last nite woulda been 'stranded'! Speaking of people who came out...DAMN! THe turnout last nite was INCREDIBLE! There was a small crowd there even before we started! And now, on to the DJ reviews!
Jaded: Layin' down some funky breaks goodness to kick us off, the tracks he layed down were perfect for warming up the collective dance muscle of everyone in attendance. Warm and inviting, it was a nice set. (spin spin sugah!)
Jimni Cricket VS MC Verbal: Oh SNAP! When she hit the decks, I thought I felt the building move! Very aurally tasty happycore once again from Jimni this time around. Hope to see 'er added to our rosters from time to time in the future.
Terminus: Our resident hard-trance gangsta keepin a hard edge going throughout his set. Lots of positive words from the dancefloor, IM windows, and the chat room. And when I looked out the booth window, it was clear that Terminus has become a local favorite!
Wheelz: Needing no introduction except as Seattle's NRG Bad-Boy! Pumping up, blowing away, and YANKING BACK TO THEIR FEET our crowd, his set was flawless in its hardness. Thank you for an incredible set Wheelz!
Scientific: THIS guy I hadn't previously heard of. But that was of no issue as he came in and threw down one of the BEST DnB sets I'd heard in a while! Maybe we'll see this guy play somewhere down the road later on. Hope so!
Well, from the looks of it, there's some suprises in store for our humble Underground X-101. Some good, some may not be so good. Whatever happens, I'm sure we'll prevail either way. Stay Tuned!
