JDS vs. MIHELL “Purple Funky Monkey” was released earlier this year on Rennie Pilgrims TCR label and was hailed across the Breaks Community as the tune to come out of the TCR camp so far….The Plump Dj’s called it the “biggest record ever on TCR” a Meat Katie called it “Simply Massive” the plaudits for this tune were not only limited to the Breaks world with Dj’s such as Judge Jules giving the tune big airtime on Radio 1, Hernan Catteneo and Timo Mass hammering it across the world and James Zabiela calling it “Stupidly Massive!”.
The production success has continued with Nigel’s latest 2 offerings “Hill Billy Funk” being snapped up by non other than the Mighty Seb Fontaine for his brand new label Stereo Type released late November 2004.
The production success is continuing for Nigel and he has again collaborated with Julian Napolitano, and Simon Langford, to create “Don’t Mean Shit” which is set to be a monster this year on Free2Air Recordings the release date is Monday June 20th
www.free2air.com
More recently Nigel again hooked up with Julian and Simon to create a slightly funkier track that is being hailed as a potential summer smash. Under the Soul Seekerz moniker the trio have come with “Turn Me Upside Down” constant Radio One play from Judge Jules and support from house guru’s like Graeme Park look set to make this track the “Lola’s Theme” of 2005!
Finally on the production front look out for a track that is sure to turn some heads in 2005 as Nigel and the boys combine tuff twisted house with raw London rap, provided by up and coming star SPILT. The result a sure fire hit called “Paranoid” release date to be advised.
