The parade itself is FREE! :D

The parade is schedule to start at 1pm and parade to the festival location where the floats will park and all the participants can enjoy the multiple genres of music that will be played. They are asking for a $5 donation upon entering the festival location, this will go to supporting our community partners and other national non-profit organizations. This is not your ordinary parade. Instead of standing on the sidelines watching it go by, everyone is encouraged to dance in the streets with the floats as the parade moves by.

The pre-parties and afterparties though will cost anywhere from $10 - $30 depending which venues has which artists.

As for lodging, anywhere around The City will be pricey but you will be in the hub of everything. The main area is Market and the Financial District / Embarcadero. Close by will be Civic Center and has areas for lodging there as well. All these locations are BART-able if you get tired walking! :D hehe

The End Up (www.theendup.com) -- The classic SF after-after hours venue (I hope the weather holds for the back patio), opens at 6am and goes all day Sunday.

I hope to meet some Seattlites down there. If anyone is interested in hitting 1015 and/or The End Up post Civic Center, PM me and we can meet up!

FYI...the P.A.M. float has been cancelled with their dj's playing on that float including PVD, ICEY and BABY ANNE, etc...

This has to do with 1015 being bitches about the talent playing on the float for free and 1015 being worried about attendance being low for their afterparty.
