Isacc Hayes. Is he a hypocrite. Yes or No?

In light of recent events (see the last few posts on the "South Park Chef Calls it Quits" thread (http://nwtekno.org/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=1543103#post1543103)) no, he is not a hypocrite.
It seems like the Church of Scientology has been behind pulling "Trapped in the Closet," and Isaac Hayes is recovering from a stroke and doesn't even know what the hell is going on.

I think it's comical that the church can even move to pull a show from the air. That would be like a temple or christian church looking to pull episodes that have made fun of their culture/beliefs. Comedy Central would have told them to kick rocks.
I ALSO think it's funny that the Scientologists are under attack for a mother that gave her schizophrenic kid vitamins, rather than meds or shrink visits... and the kid killed her. Way to go Scientology, your fear of the aliens coming to get your clouded minds took another person from the planet.
This is what makes me sick...

In light of everything going on with Dave Chappele and South Park, I would boycott Comedy Central, if it weren't for the fact that the Daily Show and Cobert Report were still there.;)
I have totally boycotted Tom Cruise, though.:D

Comedy Central is owned by Viacom, which also owns Paramount Studios. Paramount is making Mission Impossible 3, featuring Scientology's biggest tool, Tom Cruise.
It has been alleged that Tom Cruise threatened to not promote MI3 if Viacom wouldn't make Comedy Central pull the "Trapped In the Closet" episode.

hmmm I was not aware of that.
Well, in light of these new details, I *WAS* thinking of seeing MI3, but screw that, I'll get it through NetFlix and Cruise can find some other schmuck to make box office $ off of.
Bad form on Viacom's part tho... bending to an actor's poor political/social/religious views is bad business.

If Isacc had a stroke, than this poll is not relevant.
Due to mental medical problems that can follow a stroke.

That episode will (jah willing) keep on for eternity in torrent form. Pulling it from the airwaves only increases its scarcity. This makes it more of a collector's item and ultimately makes it more popular. Pulling strings to get it blocked was a really dumb, predictable move by the cult members that only reinforces the (well deserved) bad press they get.
That said, I hope this was all overblown and Hayes really didn't have anything to do with it.

I'm sure we'll see it included when the boxed set comes out for sale. If not, I'll personally write some hatemail to Viacom and Tom Cruise.
