What does that even mean?

It means there is a hellava long ass security line, everyone wants those $5 tickets. It's $5 before 10 PM, and doors are at 9. In the past people have been showing up around 8 pm and STILL not getting in till 10 cause people are trying to get that lower price and the line will accumulate >100 people who have to all get searched and pay. If you aren't at the counter by 10 then you have to pay the $10 price which will apply for the rest of the evening's guests.
