Cool [PDX] Playground Outdoor
Summer is almost here and Playground is back to bring you some more quality outdoor daytime dance gatherings!

Due to the overwhelming positive response we got from our "Sunday Afternoon in the Park" event last September in Cathedral Park, we are picking up where we left off and planning a whole series this time around.

Here are the Details for the first installment:

Playground - June 29th, 2007

Location: Cathedral Park - under the St. John's Bridge in North Portland
Time: Noon till Sunset

Admission free, All ages.

....just a little bump to remind one and all that this is coming up this weekend.

Forecast looks good, so I'm hoping everyone will be out in full force with frisbees, kites, hula hoops and picnics....

for a road trip down to PDX
to play and dance left-coast style!

We're on tomorrow!!! Woohoo can't wait.

The canopy situation has been take care of, thank you....

But we still would like some more energy put into the altar. If you have any nice-sized stones, fabrics, natural materials or other nice trinkets etc please box em up and bring em!

And to everyone....

DON'T FEAR THE HEAT! We're setting up under the shade of the bridge right next to the river (cooling effect) and I think we're getting a couple domes with parachutes. We'll have plenty of water &shade and the forecast says not as hot as yesterday.

Still, I want to encourage people to bring anything you've got to beat the heat. Water cannons, squirt guns, misters, shade structures/umbrellas, cold drinks etc etc etc....

On my way out the door.... see y'all there.
