CLP bio
As Funkstörung, Chris de Luca and partner Michael Fakesch released an uncountable amount of records on !K7, Compost Records, Musik aus Strom, Acid Planet and many more. Especially their remixes for Björk, Wu-Tang Clan, Speedy J and Plaid attracted worldwide attention. In 2002, de Luca intensely lived out his love for hip hop with friend Peabird on his first solo album Deadly Wiz Da Disko. The result: body rock for robots! This unique mix of old school hip hop and cut-up beats can confidently be called groundbreaking for the genre. Right on time for Funkstörung’s 10th anniversary in 2005 the album Return To The Acid Planet was released. It shall be their last. In 2005, de Luca moved to Berlin and in the spring of 2006, Funkstörung split up.
At the end of the last millennium, East German buddies Carsten and Sascha went out into the big wide world – to Berlin. Sascha became Apparat, Carsten turned into Phon.o. Since then, Phon.o released a number of 12 inches, EPs and two albums on labels such as Cytrax, Detroit Underground, Normoton, Tigerbeat6 and T.Raumschmiere’s Shitkatapult. His last album Burn Down The Town, released in 2005 on Shitkatapult, is a firework of techno, booty hip hop and eurocrunk. It made vocalists such as Kevin Blechdom, Gold Chains and Detroit MC Stadik fight over the mic.
The two met in 2004, when Phon.o was support act for Funkstörungs Disconnected -Tour. They liked each other so much that without further ado Phon.o was let loose on the masses again at Funkstörungs Isolated Triple Media release party. Craziness galore on the dancefloor! For the release of his last album, Phon.o then invited de Luca to fool around with his single Trick Or Treat and strike back with a remix. De Luca was bubbling over with ideas and it was only a matter of time before the two would team up.
De Luca and Phon.o offically joined forces in the spring of 2006. Since then, they’ve been rocking clubs and festivals all over Europe with their ass-kicking sets as Chris de Luca vs. Phon.o. This unconventional combination of intergalactic hip hop, ghetto beats, sexy booty IDM and dirty techno goes beyond typical contemporary genre boundaries.
Soon after, the two guys locked themselves in a studio and worked like crazy apes on new tracks for their collaborative album called Supercontinental, to be released on October 31, 2008 on the label Shitkatapult. Some outstanding MCs simply couldn't resist their monkey charm and joined the pack, namely: Yo Majesty, the freshest new signing on Domino Records, Zion I, Data MC, Tunde Olaniran, the South African Spoek, Cerebral Vortex, Damaged Good$, Kovas, White Gold Princess, Hustle Heads and the 16-year-old youngster Rayzaflo. No wonder it took a little more time than usual to get this gangster squad together and organised!
To kill time in between intercontinental MC coordination, CLP let club sound magician Boys Noize hire them for a 12” guest performance on Boysnoize Records. In no time the friendly boy pulled two of their favourite remixers out of a hat: the Duo Infernale Diplo vs. Dj Sega and the incredible Mix Hell. And – abracadabra – from nowhere the result will appear on September 15, 2008 on vinyl and digitally. And because of all the thundering applause, the two decided to drop some letters and call themselve CLP from now on. It’s time to CLaP!

PrEssHa bio
PrEssHa is one of the most versatile DJs in Seattle and throws down sick beats with impeccable skills from techno to hip-hop to dub step to breaks to electro house to drum and bass to glitch hop. Immersed in the party and responsive to the desires of his audience, PrEssHa loves to create a scorching dance floor riot, and you will find him in clubs all over the city having as much fun as the dancers getting down to the blazing beats.
PrEssHa started DJing years ago from a background mixing hip hop with classic rock, but the young talent soon discovered breaks and was hooked on the hefty, chunky, dance-friendly beats. The DJ name of PrEssHa fell on him, literally, when a huge chunk of ceiling and dust collapsed onto the decks during his set. Staying cool and collected and not missing a beat, he continued to play and the MC at the party dubbed him PrEssHa, for playing under it. Adding more significance, the capitalized letters in his name stand for Pure Electronic Harmony. Indeed.
Back home in the Puget Sound area, PrEssHa could be found on a nightly basis carrying around a simple set of Technics, a pair of Kenwood house speakers and a Fisher amp, making him a welcome sight at any house party where he would rock out for the love of the game. PrEssHa was soon noticed and brought in to play shows for big names in the local hip-hop scene and in no time was playing all over Seattle, his name on the lips of club kids and partygoers citywide.
PrEssHa currently holds residences at Noc Noc and The Jet, and regularly lights dance floors on fire at Trinity, Last Supper Club, Contour, Heavens, and many more clubs around Seattle. He has opened for Donald Glaude, Simply Jeff, Keith McKenzie, Adam F, Bachelors of Science and Ninjatunes “Nanquan.”
Voted to “The Best of 2007” on The Vortex 89.5. this most diverse DJ is now deep into the mid tempo, dubby, glitch-hop sound that is sweeping the West Coast, and as one of the pioneers of the un-named, bass-heavy genre in the Seattle electronic music community PrEssHa will most definitely continue to lay new twists to whatever he is playing, and we will no doubt continue to dance.

NOISEMAKER bio
NoiseMaker ignites crowds like the anti-fireman of the sound revolution, a peaceful warrior and artist who sets to flames all who hear his unique and expressive style. His weapon is a smart-bomb of beats, an imaginative interpretation of music which is virtually an orgy of genres from glitch to hip-hop to dub step to 80’s pop hits to drum and bass to thug rap from the eastern suburbs of Paris.Unafraid to take risks, he chops up everything from Rage Against the Machine to Justin Timberlake with no apologies and with much love from his audience. You better hold on tight kids, this is the red pill.
The crowd salivates for his thick, heavy bass; scratch that, the obese bass, the shamelessly sticky grinding ribcage-rattling thunderfunk that drives humans into transcendent madness. This commander of crunk never fails to stimulate his ever-present crowd, his dynamic musical designs produce an environment where die-hard fans collide with wanderers who step onto the dance floor with, “who the, how the, what the hell is this?” on their tongues in response to his original and engaging performance, and the room explodes with the passion of the new, the bold, and the fresh, which NoiseMaker loves to deliver- you can see it in his eyes.
Besides being involved with the Seattle Underground DJ collective, the monthly dance mania and brain-killer Spy Party, & Live n Love Productions, he has also performed alongside such talents as Glitch Mob, BreakBeatBuddha, VibeSquad, Skream, Kitty-D, Ana Sai, Nosaj Thing, SleepyHead, BLVD & SoulEye, Novatron, KJ Sawka and many others who are stretching the definition of music into a new and exhilarating creature. The future of art is happening right now, and it sounds like NoiseMaker. This revolution will not be televised.
