Damn it's COLD @ The Cool School, 01-09-04

Okay so it's freezing outside and you have been hiding in the house all week. It's time to come out and warm yourself by dancing all night to the sounds of House, NRG, Breaks and Dnb, provided Cool School Style. The usual suspects will be providing the vibe all night long and into the morning hours, all the way till 6:00am in fact! Come out and share in the warmth provided by lots of moving bodies. Of course the usual assault of sound, visuals and lighting will provide the right vibe. So, gather up the crew and head down to the school. after years of hoping and praying, we get snow in spades. seriously, this is the first time i have EVER whished for 40+ degree weather, just to MELT THE SNOW. i hope the roads are drivable on Fri night. cause i'll show up if they are.

People that bitch about where a party is being thrown at should shut the fuck up and go somewhere else or dont party at all.

For one if you cant understand the scene and why parties are getting thrown at places like the cool school which i am gratefull that they do parties there is this.

Look and read up on the rave act and then you will find your reasons to why parties are being held at cool school and other places repeatedly
or how about you give an idea for promoters in portland of where to throw a party and watch them laugh at you.

Throw a party somewhere else?! GRR! If you're under 21 like I am, that is nearly impossible, no one likes minors except the Cool School, and because of that, I love them. The Cool School offers a place for people under 21 to chill and party...it's even open all night, which is even better! If you don't like it, quit bitching and go to "Quest" you stupid asshole!

What even post that line Jazz? were you TRYING to get flamed? OBVIOUSLY this is a thread that likes Cool School. it is one of that VERY few places that is in it for the kids AND adults. the Cool School staff are doing this for the portland scene (which can be lacking). even when they do throw a party, they don't crank up the costs. 10$ cover and 1$ waters, thanks cool school. 3$ cover, all-nite, any age on the off nights. NOWHERE in portland will you find a place like it. the reason that so many parties are thrown there is because people go. if you don't like it, then stay the hell away. there is too good of an energy there to be spoiled by cynics like you who don't have anything better then to whine about something to get attention.

truly, thank you Cool School Staff and Crew, and to all the DJ's that spin there. you don't hear it nearly enough.
